Badgers win again

It wasn’t quite the thriller they played a season ago.

But the game definitely kept the interest up for the most part. Last year the UW-Milwaukee and Wisconsin women’s basketball teams played a double-overtime classic with the Badgers coming out on top on their home court.

The sequel was completed in regulation, but it was nearly as exciting after it looked like Wisconsin might win in a blowout early – much like last year – before giving up the lead only to retake it and hold off UWM, 64-55, Thursday night at the Klotsche Center.
