‘Accidental Seniors’ lifting Boise State women one more time

Call them the Accidental Seniors. If not for injuries, Boise State’s women’s basketball team would not have Tasha Harris, Jessica Van Hoogen or Rebecca Kepilino, much less all three. But injuries – and to them, a little magic – have lined them up for one more season together and one more run at another conference title.

“I definitely think it happened for a reason,” said Harris, a sixth-year senior who was granted a medical redshirt after injuring her Achilles last season. She also missed the 2005-06 season. “After I tore my Achilles, I was like, ‘OK, I was meant to be with these guys.’ ”
