The mere mention of the race toward the most cherished of all the individual records draws little more than an indifferent shrug from Tina Charles and a prolonged yawn from Maya Moore. It’s nothing against Nykesha Sales’ career scoring record, which has stood since 1998, but neither Charles nor Moore are much concerned in tabulating their gaudy statistics.
