Ogle makes verbal commitment

Prior to Southview’s game Friday night, Shanqinue Ogle officially made a verbal commitment to play basketball at Bowling Green State University.

Ogle, a junior, had interest from other schools, including Kent State, Ohio State, Eastern Michigan and East Carolina University.

“I’m very excited and it’s a lot to look forward to,” said Ogle after the team’s 65-46 win against John Marshall. “I can now just chill and have fun my senior year knowing I have somewhere I can go and not have to pay anything.”
