Minnesota Lynx re-sign Seimone Augustus to multiyear deal

Seimone Augustus didn’t test restricted free agency for long. She is staying in Minnesota.

The Minnesota Lynx will announce Tuesday that they have re-signed their standout guard to a multiyear deal.

“That’s the plan,” Minnesota Lynx executive vice president Roger Griffith told the Pioneer Press today.

Griffith, per team policy, wouldn’t reveal financial terms for the deal, but did say it was a multiyear contract. Augustus, entering her fifth WNBA season, is expected to make the veteran maximum of $101,500.
