LSU women’s basketball team escapes with overtime win against Tulane
Just when No. 7 LSU appeared to have another game against a Louisiana opponent in hand, things got wild Wednesday night at Fogelman Arena. Tulane went on an 11-2 run and forced overtime in the non-conference matchup riddled with fouls, heat cramps and vigorous play. But the Lady Tigers went back to what had worked in the first half — getting to the foul line — and prevailed 73-65.
