Freshman Adrienne Webb guides LSU Lady Tigers to victory

Freshman guard Adrienne Webb scored a career-high 17 points, lifting the LSU Lady Tigers past Houston 72-54 Saturday at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.”Shot the eyes out of it,” LSU Coach Van Chancellor said of Webb’s performance. “That was a thrill to watch her. I just wanted her to touch the ball every time. She probably would have had more than that if I could have gotten her teammates to realize she was open.”
