  • The UMKC women's basketball team dropped a 77-71 decision to Oral Roberts in the semifinal round of The Summit League Championships on Monday afternoon. The Kangaroos finish the 2009-10 season with a 16-15 overall record. Chazny Morris led the `Roos in her last game with 17 points and seven rebounds. Kim Nezianya also recorded her third double-double of the year with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

  • South Dakota State University fans are invited to join the Jackrabbit women's basketball team at Frost Arena for the airing of the NCAA Women's Basketball Selection Special Monday night. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the selection show beginning at 6 p.m. on ESPN. The selection show also will be streamed online at ESPN360.com, with extended tournament coverage at 7 p.m. on ESPNU. The Jackrabbits, 22-10 overall, earned their second consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament with a 79-75 overtime victory over top-seeded Oral Roberts (OKla.) in the Summit League Championship March 9 at the Sioux Falls Arena. First-round games will be played March 20-21 at 16 sites across the country.
