The Shock ventured to Indiana on Thursday 3-0 in the playoffs and the winner of 12 of its previous 14 games.
The team left the Hoosier state 0-2 and was denied a fourth straight berth in the WNBA Finals with a 72-67 loss to the regular-season Eastern Conference champions.

Shock coach Rick Mahorn peeked from inside his office and listened to guard Katie Smith talking about former coach Bill Laimbeer.
“I lovedplaying for Bill Laimbeer,” she said. “I lovedworking with him.”
Mahorn screamed: “Why don’t you put the knife further in my back.”
“Oh, shut the heck up, Rick,” she hollered back.

Shock is a win away from WNBA Finals
Deanna Nolan and Shavonte Zellous led quite a comeback for the Shock on Wednesday at the Palace. The Shock trailed by 11 points with 3:08 left in the second quarter and went on to beat the Indiana Fever, 72-56. The Shock took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three Eastern Conference finals.
