5-3 Hughes could be big problem for EIU women

Quick on quick. Eastern Illinois women’s basketball coach Brady Sallee has already used that description for his freshman point guard Ta’Kenya Nixon. This week, Sallee used that phrase for the opposing point guard as well. The difference is this quick-on-quick guard Jareica Hughes of UTEP is a senior who is just 5-foot-3 but stood as the Conference USA’s Player of the Year.
